Rehearsals

Rehearsals take place between 7.30 and 9.30pm on Thursday evenings at Trinity Methodist Church in Theatre Street, Dereham.

Subscription

The subscription is £25.00 per term and should be paid to the Treasurer at registration during the first rehearsal of term.

Term Dates 2010: 

• The Spring Term will run from January 7th until March 20th
• The Summer Term will run from April 8th until June 26th
• The Autumn Term will run from early September

Help with practice

The Choralia website www.choralweb.net/choralia/mp3catalogue.htm provides free training aids for choral singers. Audio files are provided which allow singers to learn their parts by listening to electronically synthesised sound. Handel - Dixit Dominus is one of the works in their catalogue, and can be downloaded as an MP3 file which can then be copied on to a CD for rehearsal purposes. Although the synthesised voices take some getting used to, you may find them helpful as each part can be downloaded separately.
